Preparation method
Mix all ingredients and knead into a firm dough, wrap it in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.
Preheat the oven to 160 °C. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar.
Cut a portion from the dough and roll it into a log. From this, cut small pieces, roll them into small logs, and shape them into crescents. Bake them in the preheated oven until golden brown. Immediately coat the baked crescents in the sugar mixture.
Chef's tip
Use a mixture of walnuts and hazelnuts. Use more walnuts, as they have a more pronounced flavor. Almonds, on the other hand, will soften the taste. For preparation, you will also need cling film and baking paper.
