Ingredients
- 400 g smooth flour
- 100 g granulated sugar and some granulated sugar for dusting
- 100 g butter
- 100 g lard
- 100 g finely grated nuts and almond
- 1 egg
- vanilla sugar for cover
- icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
- 1Mix all the ingredients and process them into solid dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge overnight.
- 2Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Mix granulated sugar, icing sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
- 3Cut a big piece of the dough and roll it into a rope. Then cut it into little pieces, forming each of them into a crescent shape. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown. Immediately dust the crescents with the sugar mix.
Tip
Combine walnuts with hazelnuts. Use more walnuts, as their taste is stronger. Almonds will make the taste more delicate. You will also need plastic wrap and baking paper.
