DOUGH
- 160 g crushed ladyfingers
- 160 g powdered sugar
- 60 g softened butter
- 2 tablespoons Czech rum
- 1 egg white
- 15 g cocoa
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- pinch of ground star anise
FILLING
- 80 g butter
- 1 tablespoon Czech rum
- 20 g powdered sugar
- 10 g vanilla sugar
FOR FINISHING
- powdered sugar for coating
- ladyfingers for finishing
Dough instructions
- 1Work all ingredients into a smooth dough, wrap it in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator until the next day.
Filling instructions
- 1Whisk all ingredients into a foam.
Finishing instructions
- 1Shape the dough into balls proportionate to the size of the mold and coat them in powdered sugar. Press a ball into the mold and use the back of a wooden spoon to make an indentation inside, which you then fill with the filling. Cover with a ladyfinger and remove from the mold.
Tip
For preparation, you will need wasp nest molds and cling film.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
