INGREDIENTS

  • 350 g semi-coarse flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 170 g butter and for greasing the mold
  • 300 g granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • coarse flour for dusting the mold

INSTRUCTIONS

    Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Thoroughly grease the lamb cake mold with butter and dust with coarse flour.

    Mix the flour with baking powder. Cream the butter with sugar until foamy, stir in eggs and milk, and finally the flour with baking powder.

    Pour the dough into the prepared mold, place in the preheated oven, and bake for 60 minutes.

    Let the finished lamb cake cool in the mold and only then turn it out.
Tip
This amount of dough is for a smaller mold. All ingredients must be at the same temperature to prevent the fat from separating in the dough (it would have fine granules). The dough might then curdle in the mold during baking and won't rise. If this happens, don't despair. Place the bowl with the dough in a warm water bath and whisk until the fat dissolves and combines with the other ingredients into a smooth dough again.
