INGREDIENTS
- 250 g rolled oats
- 100 g dried cranberries
- 100 g unpeeled almonds
- 90 g baby apple puree (1/2 jar)
- 70 g liquid honey
- 50 g natural cane sugar
- 25 g sunflower seeds
- 25 g pumpkin seeds
- 25 g oil
- 2 g dried ground ginger (1 level teaspoon)
- 2 g ground cinnamon (1 level teaspoon)
- 5 g salt (1 level teaspoon)
Instructions
- 1Grease a shallow baking sheet with a little oil and preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- 2In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients except cranberries. Pour in the baby food, honey, the rest of the oil, and mix everything thoroughly with a large spoon or wooden spoon. Spreading pressure against the bottom and sides of the bowl is more effective here than stirring motions from bottom to top.
- 3Spread the sticky mixture in a thin layer on the baking sheet and place it in the oven. If you have a convection fan, turn it on and reduce the temperature to 150 degrees Celsius. Bake for a total of 30-35 minutes. Halfway through baking, start stirring the muesli regularly every 5 minutes. After half an hour, once the muesli turns golden and is no longer partially sticky, take a small sample and let it cool. If it's crispy and crumbles well after cooling, it's baked. Be careful, the line between well-baked and burnt muesli is very fine, so be quick and vigilant towards the end of baking.
- 4Let the muesli cool completely and mix with cranberries. Immediately transfer to an airtight jar or box, otherwise it will gradually become damp, lose its crispness, and spoil.
