1. Joint Controllers of Personal Data
If, within a purchase, the buyer orders goods both in the ROHLÍK E-shop and in the BENU E-shop, then BENU and VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o. act as joint controllers of personal data.
These companies, as controllers, have concluded an agreement regulating the sharing of data between them for mutual cooperation related to the operation of the BENU E-shop, the ROHLÍK E-shop, and the provision of the Logistics Service. In this agreement, they define their obligations regarding personal data protection. VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o. processes, for both controllers, data necessary for the operation of the ROHLÍK E-shop, the BENU E-shop, and the provision of the Logistics Service (e.g., customer/user account, cookies, delivery, order status, payment methods). VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o. also provides information there about processors or recipients of personal data that may be used, to whom personal data is disclosed in connection with the fulfillment of orders.
Each of the above-mentioned companies, as a controller, also independently processes personal data for purposes determined by itself. These include, in particular, processing for the purpose of concluding and performing a contract, fulfilling statutory obligations (tax or accounting records), and for the purposes of the controller’s legitimate interests (e.g., complaints, legal defense) or for marketing purposes.
2. Rights of Data Subjects
The buyer may exercise all rights related to their personal data and its processing via the email address zakaznici@rohlik.cz. The joint controllers of personal data, i.e. VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o. and BENU, will cooperate in responding to such a request where necessary, and the request will be handled within the statutory time limits.
As a data subject, the buyer has the right to request from each of the above-mentioned companies, i.e. VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o. and BENU, as controllers, access to personal data, its rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability under the GDPR. The detailed conditions for exercising these rights arise from the relevant legal regulations (in particular Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and, where applicable, other legal regulations, e.g. Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on Personal Data Processing, as amended), noting that not all these rights are guaranteed for each specific processing activity (for each individual purpose).
Subject to meeting the legal requirements (see Article 21 GDPR), the buyer, as a data subject, has the right to object to the processing of their data if it is processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests of any of the controllers or another party. Furthermore, the buyer, as a data subject, has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the handling of data directly with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
3. Processing of Personal Data in BENU
For the purpose of fulfilling the purchase contract concluded via the BENU E-shop, BENU, as the seller, processes the buyer’s personal data to the extent necessary for fulfilling the purchase contract (first name and surname, delivery address, email address, telephone number, and data regarding the goods, billing details). The buyer provides this personal data during ordering and collection of goods in the BENU E-shop directly or through their user account, if they have one. The user account within the BENU E-shop is managed by VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o., with whom BENU Česká republika s.r.o. shares data for the above-mentioned purpose. Therefore, if you wish to cancel your user account, it is necessary to contact zakaznici@rohlik.cz.

BENU may send all its customers, from whom it has obtained an email address or telephone number in connection with its business activities, bulk newsletters – i.e. commercial communications regarding its goods and offered services, in accordance with Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, as amended. Bulk newsletters may be sent via the Logistics Service. If the buyer does not wish to receive such commercial communications, they may express their objection via the link included in the email delivering such a newsletter. Alternatively, it is possible to contact zakaznici@rohlik.cz.
BENU has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at dpo@benu.cz.
BENU may transfer personal data to processors that provide services to BENU within the scope of the above-described processing purposes. The main processor is Apatyka Servis s.r.o., with its registered office at Prague 10, K pérovně 945/7, Postal Code 10200, Company ID: 48027821 (supplier of the pharmacy information system). 4. BENU PLUS Loyalty Program
Within purchases made via the BENU E-shop, it is not possible to use the benefits of the BENU PLUS loyalty program, including discount vouchers or product coupons, except for the collection of points for completed purchases, and only if the customer saves and subsequently confirms their BENU PLUS card number within their customer account in the ROHLÍK E-shop.
