We Save the Environment
The Plastic and Automotive Age, that's how the beginning of the 21st century will be recorded in history. We quickly got used to the comfort of cars and disposable packaging. However, if we don't reflect on ourselves and start addressing this ticking ecological bomb, we will suffocate in exhaust fumes and drown in plastics, literally. What are we doing at Rohlik to ensure that both we and the entire ecosystem feel good on our planet?
Less Plastic Packaging
Plastics are everywhere we look. And they won't disappear from our sight anytime soon. They take hundreds of years to decompose. At Rohlik, we are doing everything we can to reduce the current production of plastic waste to a minimum, so that we have oceans full of marine life and not plastic. Since August, we have stopped selling single-use plastic tableware. We have replaced it with paper and wooden alternatives. Additionally, we have introduced a "No Plastic Packaging" filter on the website, which allows you to filter products packaged in recyclable materials with just one click.

We have also chosen partially degradable packaging for our new Rohlik hams. We support other degradable products, such as eco diapers or eco garbage bags. And what about our bags? They are also environmentally friendly. They are made from FSC paper, which does not come from illegal logging in rainforests. However, we are concerned about the number of bags you receive. Unfortunately, due to legislation that requires us to separate certain types of goods, we are still looking for a solution to this issue.
