New in online payments

Based on the requirements of the European Union, as of December 31, 2020, all online stores (not just Rohlik) are introducing so-called Strong Customer Authentication for even safer online payments. What does this mean?

 

  • Online payment may now take place over multiple steps to allow providers to verify that it is indeed you.
     
  • The specific process and appearance of the steps depend on your bank or card. You may be redirected to your bank's app, confirm with a fingerprint, or perhaps via a verification SMS.
     
  • Which orders will require strong verification? Those that exceed the value of 30 EUR and every fifth order.
     
  • If your payment happens to be a bit slower, we sincerely apologize. The security of your payment is our priority!
