How did it all begin? Bees were initially just a hobby for us. But we quickly fell in love with the sweet world of hives, honeycombs, and honey… and after some time, we knew we wanted to dedicate ourselves to it fully. Thus, the family beekeeping business Včelařství Domovina was established in 2016.

Where our bees buzz

 

Our beekeeping farm thrives on the edge of Vysočina. Most of the bees diligently fly near Lubno and Sázavka in the Havlíčkův Brod region and near the village of Vlkanov near Ledeč nad Sázavou. But you can also find them elsewhere, for example in apple orchards near Křečhoř in the Kolín region.

What we do with honey

 

Good and diligent bees give us honey, and from it, we make many sweet treats. Honeys flavored with fruit or spices are the most successful, but customers also love nuts in honey and other delicacies. All purely natural in origin!

Being a proper beekeeper

 

Beekeeping, it's a lifelong love. That's why we help bees. We do it without chemicals, we build bee sanctuaries, we use natural materials, we invest in gentle thermosolar hives. And we support domestic flower sowing, from which bees collect nectar.
