J. Stávek Frankovka VOC Modré hory is a red wine made from a blend of Frankovka, aged for 18 months in large oak barrels of Hungarian, Slavonian, and French oak. Alcohol 12% vol.
The aroma features dark pickled sour cherries, star anise, and notes of fine wood; on the palate, blackberries, cinnamon, and cherry with a fuller expression. Vintage and residual sugar: not specified. Serve at approximately 16–18 °C; pairs well with cheeses and meats, or lighter cuisine.
Use
Serve with both cold and hot dishes, especially cheeses and meats. For a more pronounced aroma, let it breathe briefly in the glass.
