INGREDIENTS
- 3 slices of toast bread
- 2 slices of streaky bacon
- 6-8 thin slices of turkey breast
- Mayonnaise
- Salt
- Olive oil spray for toast
- Olive oil for turkey breast
- A little lettuce (iceberg, romaine, crispy, or oak leaf)
- 3-4 slices of tomato
- Free-range egg
- Sliced cheese to taste (optional)
- Seasoning
- Freshly ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Cut the turkey breast into 2-3 pieces, similar in size and especially height to proper chicken breasts. Season, salt, and place in a preheated all-metal pan with olive oil. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Place the pan in the oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- 2Meanwhile, toast the bread slices sprayed on both sides with olive oil. Slowly render the bacon in a pan. In the same pan, in the fat released by the bacon, slowly prepare a fried egg. Slice the turkey meat as thinly as possible. Do the same with the tomato.
- 3Assemble the sandwich in the following order: toast, mayonnaise, bacon, turkey meat, tomatoes, mayonnaise, toast, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, egg, mayonnaise, toast.
