INGREDIENTS FOR FERMENTED CURD CHEESE
- 250 g full-fat soft curd cheese
- 5-6 g salt
- Approx. 80 ml milk
INGREDIENTS FOR GARNISH AND BAKED GOODS
- Rohlík's Walnut Bread
- Chives
- Extra virgin olive oil
YOU WILL ALSO NEED
- Preserving jar
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix all ingredients into a smooth, thick mass; if you need to add a little more milk, that's fine.
- 2Transfer to a clean jar (ideally pre-filled with boiling water from a kettle) and let stand for one, maximum two days (this is more for winter; in summer, really a maximum of 24 hours) out of direct sunlight on the kitchen counter. Then place in the refrigerator and store there.
Tip
You can spread the fermented curd cheese on bread, sprinkle with chives, and drizzle with olive oil. However, it works perfectly as a base for all kinds of spreads instead of classic curd cheese, Lučina, or fresh cheese.
