Ingredients overview

  • 1 large yellow onion (approx. 120 g)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 350 g frozen peas (1 package)
  • 700 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt

First, finely chop the onion and garlic. Then, heat the oil in a medium-sized pot and sauté the onion over low to medium heat until translucent (approx. 4 minutes). Next, add the garlic and sauté for another 1 minute. Then, add the peas to the pot, pour in the broth, bring to a boil, and cook for 15 minutes over low to medium heat.

Finally, blend the contents of the pot with an immersion blender until smooth, season with salt and lemon juice, and serve.
