INGREDIENTS
- 300 g fresh strawberries (or frozen)
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs size M
- 50 g liquid honey
- 100 g sour cream (12% fat)
- 300 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 400 g wholemeal spelt plain flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 50 g granulated cane sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1First, preheat the oven to 180 °C, prepare a baking sheet (30 cm × 40 cm) and line it with baking paper.
- 2Clean the strawberries and cut them in half. Put the butter in a small saucepan and melt it over low heat (this will take 2–3 minutes). Then take a large bowl and mix the eggs, melted butter, honey, sour cream, and milk in it. Sift the spelt flour and baking powder into the mixture, add the cane sugar, and mix everything into a smooth batter. Pour the batter onto the lined baking sheet, spread the sliced strawberries on top, and bake for 35–40 minutes at 175–180 °C.
- 3After baking, let the cake cool for about 1 hour. Then cut it into 10 portions and serve.
