Preparation method
Ingredients overview
- 4 carrots
- 3 celery stalks
- 2 medium apples
- 100 g ginger
- 150 g sea buckthorn
METHOD
Quarter the apples and remove the cores. Cut the carrots and celery into smaller pieces. Peel and also chop the ginger.
Juice all the ingredients one by one using a juicer. Pour the finished drink into a bottle and store in the fridge, where it will keep for 2-3 days. Alternatively, pour the drink into smaller bottles and store in the freezer, where it will last even longer. Defrost them in the fridge before use.
SERVING
Have a shot every morning before breakfast for a boost. This immunity shot is not too sharp, so your kids will love it too.
Chef's tip
If you want the shot to be more distinct and stronger, you can mix a teaspoon of cayenne pepper into the finished drink, or blend in a chilli pepper. Alternatively, play around with the amount of sea buckthorn or ginger.
