INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 red onions
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 150 ml sour cream (definitely buy one that does not list starch in its ingredients)
- 1 egg yolk
- salt
- dried marjoram
- 1 ready-made store-bought shortcrust pastry for tart
Instructions
- 1Simply transfer the dough, rolled into a circle shape and about 4 mm thick, to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Start preheating the oven to 180 degrees, keep the fan-assisted circulation turned off.
- 2Mix the cream with egg yolks, a pinch of salt, and a little rubbed marjoram. Spread it onto the dough, leaving a small border free along the edges. Then, fold the edges up slightly and only partially. If you create a decorative pattern while doing so, the prize will most likely be yours.
- 3Peel the onions and slice them into thin half-moons. In a bowl, mix them with oil and a pinch of salt, trying to separate the individual layers of the onion. Then spread this beauty over the seasoned cream. Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges turn golden and the onions are also golden.
- 4Let cool for a while, cut into pieces, and serve lukewarm.
Tip
Instead of shortcrust pastry, you can also use ready-made pizza dough. However, bake it very intensely, ideally between 220-240 degrees. Remove the finished tart from the oven no later than 20 minutes, but possibly even sooner - be guided by the color of the edges.
Kuchařka pro dceru
Pesto from vegetable greens is a great way to use the whole vegetable and avoid waste. It tastes great with fresh pasta, on toasted bread, or as a seasoning for soups. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed jar covered with a layer of oil. Enjoy!
