Preparation method
First, take a saucepan, place both eggs in it, cover them with enough water, and bring the water to a boil over high heat. Then reduce the heat to medium and boil the eggs for 8 – 10 minutes until hard-boiled.
Meanwhile, clean the celery, peel it, and grate it finely. Wash the apple and grate it coarsely with the skin on. Once the eggs are cooked, cool them, peel them, and grate them coarsely.
Then take a medium-sized bowl, add the grated celery, apple, eggs, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice, and mix everything. Season the resulting spread with salt and pepper and serve.
Chef's tip
We recommend serving the spread with sourdough bread or any whole-grain pastry. Before serving, you can garnish it with finely chopped chives and freshly ground pepper.
