Preparation method

SYRUP INSTRUCTIONS

Peel the ginger and slice it thinly.

In a saucepan, combine 500 ml of water, sugar, and lemon zest and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook until a syrup consistency is achieved. Then add the sliced ginger.

Let it boil for another 2 minutes and then let the ginger syrup cool to room temperature.

Chef's tip

You can add lemon slices and a few slices of fresh ginger to the glass. If you strain the ginger syrup, you can store it in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for later use.
