First, prepare the ingredients for the salad: Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas, peel the onion and cut it into thin slices, and cut the cucumber and tomatoes into small cubes, approximately 0.5 cm × 0.5 cm.

Then take a bowl, add the rinsed chickpeas, chopped onion, cucumber, and tomatoes, add the whole olives, and finally crumble the Balkan cheese into the bowl.

Now prepare the dressing: Take a small jar, mix olive oil, dried oregano, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of water, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in it, close the jar with a lid, and shake.
Chef's tip
You can garnish the salad with freshly ground pepper before serving.
