  • 160 g wholemeal spelt plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • Salt
  • 170 g cottage cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

    In a bowl, mix spelt flour, cottage cheese, egg, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Knead the resulting dough with your hands until all ingredients are combined.

    Let the bowl with the finished dough rest for 10–15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 170 °C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

    From the rested dough, gradually shape 4 equally sized buns and place them on the lined baking sheet. Then transfer the baking sheet with the buns to the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes at 165–170 °C. The baked buns should be golden on the surface and soft when pressed.
