INGREDIENTS

  • 8 sheets of lasagna pasta
  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 500 g strained tomatoes
  • 400 g chopped canned tomatoes
  • 600 g minced beef
  • 2 medium yellow onions
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 200 g cooking cream
  • Handful of fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • Handful of basil
  • 100 g Parmesan-type cheese
  • 1 Cayenne chili pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    Finely chop the onion. Mix half of it with the minced meat. Then add 2 crushed cloves of garlic, half of the chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together and form meatballs with a diameter of 2 – 3 cm. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Sauté the other half of the onion until golden brown in 2 tbsp of oil, then add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden. Add the crushed and strained tomatoes. Pour in the broth, add the chopped parsley and half of the basil. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer under a lid for 15 minutes. Then stir in 50 g of grated cheese. Finally, pour in the cream. Season further as needed.

    Cook the pasta in salted water al dente. Then cut them into wider strips.

    Serve the soup with lasagna, meatballs, chopped chili pepper, and fresh basil.
