Ingredients

  • 50 g peanuts
  • 400 g rice noodles
  • 60 ml tamarind sauce
  • 50 g fried onion
  • 500 g chicken meat
  • 1 pc coriander for garnish
  • 125 g leek
  • 20 g chili pepper for garnish
  • 120 g spring onion
  • 300 g red onion
  • 220 g lime
  • 300 g carrots
  • 4 pcs eggs
  • 24 g sugar
  • 60 ml fish sauce
  • 42 g garlic
  • 42 g ginger
  • 30 ml sunflower oil
  • 60 ml light soy sauce

Instructions

  • 1
Prepare a maximum of 2 servings in one pan. If you feel there isn't enough liquid in the Pad Thai, you can add a spoon or two of water. You will need a wok pan for preparation. Preparation time is 50 minutes.
  • 2
Soak the rice noodles in cold water for about 20 minutes.
  • 3
Fry the meat in heated oil. Then spread it out in the pan and fry the eggs in the middle. Once the eggs are fried, mix them with the meat and add the chopped onion and carrots. Blend the garlic, ginger, and a drop of oil into a paste. Then add the paste to the pan.
  • 4
Stir in the pre-soaked noodles, then add all the seasonings at once (sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, tamarind paste) and finally add the leek and spring onion. Garnish the finished Pad Thai noodles with peanuts, coriander, chili, and fried onion.
