SALAD

  • 250 g pasta
  • 200 g canned tuna in oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • handful of olives
  • herbs for seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain, but do not rinse with cold water. While it's cooking, chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

    For the dressing, use the drained oil from the tuna, in which you gently let 1-2 cloves of sliced garlic infuse their aroma over low heat.

    In a large bowl, mix together warm pasta, warm dressing, chopped vegetables, and flaked tuna. Season with more salt if needed. You can also add olives and fresh herbs. Only after mixing, transfer everything to a serving bowl.

Pesto from vegetable greens is a great way to use the whole vegetable and avoid waste. It tastes great with fresh pasta, on toasted bread, or as a seasoning for soups. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed jar covered with a layer of oil. Enjoy!
