INGREDIENTS
- 250 g couscous
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Pour the couscous into a saucepan or another wide, flat dish, pour oil over it, salt, and mix with a fork until the grains are evenly coated with fat.
- 2Pour 400 ml of boiling water, or preferably a gentle broth, over the prepared couscous and cover with a well-fitting lid. Let it rest for 5 minutes. The couscous should remain covered and away from a heat source during this time.
- 3Fluff the soft couscous with a fork, ideally a two-pronged one, which has a crucial function when carving meat.
