  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 400 g English bacon
  • 150 g cheddar
  • mayonnaise
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and cook until tender. Then cut them into thicker slices.

    Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry them in a pan until golden. Then remove them from the pan.

    Add butter to the same pan and let it melt. Add the potato slices and fry them until golden on both sides.

    In a large bowl, combine the still warm potatoes, bacon, and grated cheddar. Thanks to the warm potatoes and bacon, the cheese should melt in the salad. Finally, add mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper, and mix the salad well.
