Preparation method
In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, butter, egg, and a pinch of salt, and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, place it in the refrigerator, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the apple filling: Wash the apples, remove the cores, and slice them thinly with the skin on. Transfer the sliced apples to a large bowl, add granulated sugar, pudding powder, cinnamon, and lemon juice, and mix everything together.
Preheat the oven to 170 °C, prepare a pie dish with a diameter of approximately 24 cm, and line it with baking paper. Then remove the baking paper from the dish and place it on a work surface.
