- 1 kg Brussels sprouts
- 1 cup finely grated Parmesan
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.
- 2In a bowl, combine Parmesan, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the cheese mixture in an even layer in the center of a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the Brussels sprouts, cut sides down, into the cheese mixture.
- 3Bake in the preheated oven until the Brussels sprouts are tender and the cheese layer is golden brown and crispy, 16 to 18 minutes (the cheese will still crisp up after removing from the oven). Let stand for 5 minutes; gently separate the Brussels sprouts to serve. Sprinkle with lemon zest and serve hot.
