- 1 kg potatoes (type C)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- ½ tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tub of sour cream
- 1 clove of garlic

Boil the potatoes in their skins until semi-soft. When they cool down, peel them and grate them finely onto a work surface or into a large bowl. Add the starch, flour, egg, 1 teaspoon of salt and, as quickly as possible, mix with a wooden spoon or by hand into a softer but compact dough.

On a floured table or work surface, roll the dough into a log and divide it into equally sized pieces. Then shape them with your hands into pancakes with a diameter of 8 cm and a thickness of 6 mm.

Heat the lard in a pan over medium heat and fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
