Halve the avocado, remove the skin and pit. Wash the cucumber and cut it into larger pieces.

Transfer both to a blender along with the basil, garlic, and onion, pour 500 ml of water over everything, and blend until smooth.

Season the resulting mixture with salt, pepper, and lime juice, and place in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Chef's tip
Serve the gazpacho garnished with fresh basil leaves, cucumber slices, and small avocado cubes.
