INGREDIENTS

  • 1 red bell pepper (approx. 180–200 g)
  • 270 g Žervé
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8–10 drops Tabasco
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of salt

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

    Brush the bell pepper with oil, place it on a baking sheet, put it in the preheated oven, and bake for 15 minutes. Immediately transfer it to a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap as quickly as possible, and let it steam for 30 minutes. Then carefully peel off the skin, halve it, and remove the stem and seeds.

    Finely chop the flesh and mix with the other ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
