INGREDIENTS
- 1 red bell pepper (approx. 180–200 g)
- 270 g Žervé
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8–10 drops Tabasco
- pinch of pepper
- pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- 2Brush the bell pepper with oil, place it on a baking sheet, put it in the preheated oven, and bake for 15 minutes. Immediately transfer it to a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap as quickly as possible, and let it steam for 30 minutes. Then carefully peel off the skin, halve it, and remove the stem and seeds.
- 3Finely chop the flesh and mix with the other ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
