  • 1 small head of red pointed cabbage, approx. 600 - 700 g
  • 1 apple
  • 40 g horseradish
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • A pinch of ground pepper
  • A handful of walnuts

Shred or finely slice the cabbage. Peel the apple and cut it into small matchsticks. Peel the horseradish and grate it on a fine grater.

Place everything in a bowl and season with wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Add the chopped walnuts. Mix well and let it rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
