CORIANDER BUTTER
- 15 g peeled garlic
- 50 g butter
- 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
CORN
- 4 cobs of sweet corn
- 60 g salt
- 60 g granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
METHOD FOR CORIANDER BUTTER
- 1Press the garlic.
- 2In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the garlic and lemon zest, and let the garlic briefly sauté over low heat. Be careful, it must not turn golden! Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped coriander.
METHOD FOR CORN
- 1In a pot, bring 3 l of water to a boil with salt and sugar. Add the corn cobs and cook them covered for 30 minutes. Turn the cobs occasionally during cooking. Let the cooked corn drain thoroughly in a colander.
- 2In a pan, heat the oil over high heat and fry the cobs until golden on all sides. Then pour the coriander butter over them and serve immediately.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
