Rohlik Barrier-Free terms and conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions of the Rohlik Barrier-Free (“Terms”). It is a legal document that clearly describes the rights and obligations associated with club membership – a free service for seniors aged 65+ and holders of ZTP, TP or ZTP/P disability cards, providing numerous benefits for shopping via the e-shop www.rohlik.cz (“Club” or “Rohlik Barrier-Free”).

Who are we and where can you find us?

E-shop www.rohlik.cz is available via the website www.rohlik.cz or through the mobile app Rohlik.cz (“Rohlik.cz e-shop”).

Behind the Rohlik.cz e-shop is the company VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o., ID No.: 030 24 130, with its registered office at Karolinská 654/2, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under File No. C 226550 ("Rohlik.cz").

The Terms are effective as of 15 August 2025.

1.       ROHLIK BARRIER-FREE

The Club is a free service available to customers who meet one of the following criteria:

  • Are 65 years or older, or
  • Hold a valid ZTP, TP or ZTP/P disability card.

The Club aims to make online shopping more accessible to those with limited mobility or access to traditional shopping.

Membership is entirely voluntary and free of charge.

2.       MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

What benefits do you receive as a member of the Club?

Free delivery & assistance with heavy groceries

  • Free delivery daily in time windows between 10:00 and 15:00
  • Reduced minimum order value for delivery to your specified address (current amount is stated on the Rohlik.cz e-shop)
  • Delivery to your apartment door, including upstairs without a lift
  • Assistance with carrying heavy bags is standard part of the service

Exclusive Club discounts

  • Access to special prices and deals not visible to regular customers
  • Members-only promotions

Ordering by phone

  • You can place orders via our free customer service line 800 730 740
  • Our team is ready to assist with the ordering process

Marketing communication

As a member of the Club, you may receive offers, news, and discount information from us via email or SMS.

You can opt out of marketing communications or adjust your preferences at any time via your customer account under the section "Communication Settings", or by contacting our customer support.

Important notice: The availability of benefits may vary depending on:

  • Your delivery location and logistics capacity,
  • The current product offering,
  • The technical capabilities of the Rohlik.cz e-shop.

Rohlik.cz reserves the right to modify, supplement, or temporarily limit the benefits, with members being informed in an appropriate manner.

3.       HOW TO JOIN

Membership is activated in two simple steps:

Step 1: Register on Rohlik.cz e-shop

First, register on the Rohlik.cz e-shop at www.rohlik.cz. You can complete the registration:

  • Easily online via the website or the mobile application, or
  • If needed, by calling our free customer service line at 800 730 740, where our team will be happy to assist you.

To register, please have the following information ready: your name, address, phone number, and email address.

Step 2: Join the Club

Once you have completed your registration on Rohlik.cz, simply call our customer service line at 800 730 740, and we will register you for the Club. After successful registration, you can start shopping comfortably and enjoy all the Club benefits.

Can activation be temporarily unavailable?

In case of high demand that may affect service quality, Rohlik.cz may temporarily suspend new registrations. You will be informed in advance of any such limitation.

4.       VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY

With your first purchase

The courier delivering your first purchase will verify your eligibility for Club membership in one of the following ways:

  • For seniors – by visually confirming your age or checking an official ID (identity card or passport),
  • For disability card holders – by checking a valid ZTP, TP, or ZTP/P card or another document proving a medical condition.

Important: We do not store any data from the documents presented during this verification. The courier simply confirms to our customer support team that the eligibility was verified, and this confirmation is recorded in our system.

For future purchases

Eligibility will not be re-verified for future purchases, unless the courier has reasonable doubts regarding your continued eligibility.

5.       TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

Membership cancellation by the member

You may cancel your membership at any time and without giving a reason using any of the following methods:

  • By phone via our customer service line: 800 730 740

Automatic termination of membership

Your membership will automatically end if your customer account on www.rohlik.cz is deleted.

Membership cancellation by Rohlik.cz

Rohlik.cz may cancel your membership in the following cases:

  • If false information was provided during Club registration
  • If Club benefits are misused
  • If these Terms or the general terms and conditions of the Rohlik.cz e-shop are violated

Consequences of cancellation

Upon cancellation of your membership, all Club benefits will be terminated with immediate effect.

6.       LIMITATIONS AND MISUSE

Personal nature of benefits

The benefits associated with membership in the Club are:

  • Personal and linked to a specific customer account,
  • Non-transferable to other individuals,
  • Intended exclusively for the needs of the member and their household.

Prohibition of misuse

Misuse of Club benefits includes, in particular:

  • Providing false information about age or health condition,
  • Using someone else’s ZTP, TP, or ZTP/P card,
  • Commercial use of the benefits (e.g., purchasing goods for resale),
  • Any behaviour contrary to the purpose of the Club.

Sanctions for misuse

In the event of proven misuse, Rohlik.cz reserves the right to:

  • Immediately terminate the membership without compensation,
  • Block further access to Club benefits,
  • Seek compensation for damages resulting from the misuse.

7.       LIABILITY AND WARRANTY

We operate the Club with the utmost care and effort to ensure the highest possible quality. However, there are circumstances beyond our control:

Exclusion of liability

Rohlik.cz is not liable for:

  • The actions of other customers or circumstances arising on their side,
  • Damage caused by force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, government decisions, etc.),
  • Technical outages (power supply failures, network disruptions),
  • Interruptions or limitations of the Club services due to extraordinary events,
  • The content and operation of third-party advertisements on the Rohlik.cz e-shop,
  • Unauthorized interference with the e-shop system by third parties.

Limited liability for third-party services

Rohlik.cz is not responsible for the services provided by payment service providers, couriers, or other contractual partners. We are not liable for any errors or failures on their part.

8.       FINAL PROVISIONS

Legal framework

If the provision of the Rohlik Barrier-Free service or any legal relationship arising from the use of the Rohlik.cz e-shop involves an international (foreign) element, such relationship shall be governed by Czech law. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under generally binding legal regulations. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in the Czech Republic, based on the registered office of Rohlik.cz.

Relation to other terms

Membership in the Club is also governed by the General Terms and Conditions www.rohlik.cz. In the event of a conflict, these Terms shall take precedence.

Supervision and authorization

If needed, you may submit a complaint to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), which is the national supervisory authority for consumer protection.

Service termination

Rohlik.cz reserves the right to terminate the Rohlik Barrier-Free service or the sale of goods and services via the Rohlik.cz e-shop at any time.

Changes to the Terms

Rohlik.cz may reasonably modify or update these Terms. You will be informed in advance of any changes via email or another appropriate method.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or ineffective, it shall not affect the validity and effectiveness of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely reflects the original intent and purpose.
