Kuku bags

Paper bags can be and are a great ecological packaging solution. But when you receive a supply of bread in them larger than you can eat, after a few days you can only make breadcrumbs out of them.

That's why we have listened to all your requests and are gradually saying adieu to paper bags for bread! They are being replaced by our new KUKU bags!

These 100% home compostable bags keep bread much longer fresh and crispy and do not burden our planet.

They are made from corn starch and nature really devours them. After a few weeks in a composter or compost, they completely decompose!

And how to recycle them?

CORN DOES NOT BELONG IN PLASTIC! Our corn bags do not belong in plastic, but only in biowaste, a composter, or on a compost heap. Rohlik's Tip: Do not throw away the bags after eating baked goods. For example, use them to store fruit and vegetable scraps. Then you can throw them into the compost without any guilt.

Try it on your own roll

Currently, we primarily pack baked goods that weren't well-suited to previous paper bags into compostable corn-based bags. However, we dislike waste, which is why, for example, bread or other products will still be delivered in their paper predecessors.

Want to try our Corn Bags? No problem! Below you'll find all the products we now exclusively pack in this corn-based innovation. Enjoy the crunch!
