Bringing innovation and seeking paths to sustainability will always be part of our DNA. Most recently, we've focused on hydroponics, i.e., growing plants without soil. You might be thinking, what kind of ideas are these?This method of cultivation has only advantages: it uses less water and soil, pests don't stand much of a chance here, so no pesticides are needed. And because we deliver the produce to you with roots, they will stay fresh longer at home in a glass.In the Czech Republic, we are the very first online store with hydroponically grown plants. We suspect that for herbs or salads, hydroponics is the cultivation method of the future. We are currently testing it at our warehouse in Chrášťany, where a special container is located. In it, we grow 11 types of plants, which we will deliver directly to your home (valid only for orders from the Chrášťany warehouse). This is a pilot project, and if successful, we will expand it further. So come and try them!

Would you believe that without soil, it's more efficient and sustainable? In hydroponics, plant roots are submerged in a cocktail of water and nutrients instead of traditional soil. And thanks to this, we save a lot of water for irrigation and can also provide each plant with a perfectly precise amount of nutrients. And it's clear that herbs and salads love it!
For our hydroponics endeavors, we teamed up with an expert in this field – the company Greeentechnology. They develop new technologies and innovative hydroponic methods to make plant production as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible.
Greeentechnology also researches other plant species that would be suitable for this type of cultivation. Let's keep our fingers crossed for them, because we will all certainly appreciate more fresh, healthier, and more ecological herbs and leafy greens.
