“Do you have any books for me?” It sounds like a joke, but you’ll probably hear this sentence from Rohlík couriers very soon. It’s no secret that at Rohlík, we uphold key values such as innovation, ecology, supporting local entrepreneurs, and helping people in need.And our new collaboration with the online second-hand bookstore Knihobot is a win-win for everyone. We will offer you a new service, Knihobot will gain new infrastructure even in regions, you will more conveniently sell your surplus books, nature will welcome fewer kilometers driven for their collection, and together we will support single mothers, homeless children, or seniors in need.Just fill any bag with your read books; ideally, you can use a Rohlík bag that has a barcode label, and always write your phone number and email address directly on the bag. Please pack the bag carefully, ensure that the books do not spill out, and hand it to the courier. Knihobot will use this information to assign the books to your customer account. Knihobot will take care of any registration and sale for you. So if you've finished reading, there's no need to wait!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What kind of books can we send? You can send any books in good condition. They can also be in foreign languages. You can also send comics and textbooks (current, unmarked). Do not send magazines, high school textbooks, or very damaged books. How many books can I send? A maximum of 20 items per one purchase on Rohlík. You can send books again with your next purchase. How should I prepare the books? Just put the books into a bag (ideally a Rohlík paper bag). It is important to include a slip of paper with your name, phone number, and email in the bag, or write them directly on the bag, and seal the bag so the books don't fall out. Knihobot will use your details to assign the books to your customer account. If you don't have an account with Knihobot yet, one will be created for you based on the provided information. What happens to the books next? Within 10 days at the latest, you will receive an email from Knihobot informing you that they have received and are processing the books. Once the books are sold, the money will be paid into your Knihobot customer account. How much will I get for the books? For each book sold, you will receive 60% of the selling price minus 29 CZK, which Knihobot retains. What happens if the books don't sell? If the books do not sell at the initial price, Knihobot will gradually reduce the price. If they do not sell even at the minimum price, they will be donated for removal or to charity.
