Welcome to Mikulovsko! On the calcareous soils around Pálava, Welschriesling (VOC) primarily ripens, with an unmistakable mineral character. From the deep loess soils, the grapevine draws a lot of nutrients for the formation of aromatic substances, distinct spiciness and an original mineral expression. Mikulovsko thus gives rise to excellent wines with a unique character – and these are exactly what we will present to you today.

You are currently on one of the best vineyard sites in our country – the southern slopes of Pálava, where Mikrosvín Mikulov owns twelve vineyard sites. The absolute jewels are the sites Železná, Goldhamer and Purmice. A very limited but typical varietal composition is grown on them, from which the phenomenal Welschriesling stands out.

In cooperation with the winery, we have created for you a limited experiential tasting box, in which you will find three bottles of Welschriesling, but also videos with the winemaker, photos, a letter from the winemaker, and a tasting card, which will immediately transport you to a tasting in a Pálava cellar.
Thanks to the tasting box, you will become a sommelier for a day and visit the Mikrosvín winery.
