How many returnable bags do I have available?
When you pay the refundable deposit, you have 20 returnable bags available. If the number of currently unreturned returnable bags is 20 or more, your next orders will be delivered in paper bags until the number of unreturned returnable bags is less than 20.
Where can I find out how many returnable bags I currently have unreturned?
You can find the number of bags to be returned in your profile.
What should I do to get the deposit back?
If you no longer wish to use returnable bags, please contact our customer support – in writing or by phone. The operator will first verify the number of returned bags and if the complete number is not returned, we will refund you a proportional part of the deposit (1 bag = 12.5 CZK).
You can choose whether you want the deposit returned in the form of credits or credited back to your account.
What are the bags made of?
Returnable bags are made of 100% recycled plastic (rPET) - material obtained from recycled PET bottles. 2 plastic bottles were used to make 1 bag.
Are returnable bags a more environmentally friendly option? Even though they are made of plastic?
Yes, the overall environmental impact (parameters energy consumption, land, and water) is up to 80% lower compared to paper bags based on the results of a study conducted by LCA Studio. When comparing the amount of carbon footprint, returnable bags perform better by 60%, even when transportation is taken into account.
What happens to the bags after 25 uses?
Worn or damaged bags that can no longer be used are recycled again. It is a material without unnecessary additives and is therefore suitable for further processing.
