Roll out the puff pastry and cut it lengthwise into strips about 1 cm wide. Wrap each sausage individually with the created strips; you will need 2 or three strips per sausage. Remember to leave a space about 0.5 cm wide in approximately one-third of the sausage, which will not be wrapped in puff pastry. This space will form the area for the mummy's eyes.

Arrange the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave gaps between the individual sausages on the baking sheet so they don't stick together during baking.
