Tradiční mexická pouliční kukuřice (Elotes) je dokonalou letní pochoutkou. Sladká grilovaná kukuřice potřená krémovou směsí majonézy, zakysané smetany, česneku a limetky, bohatě zasypaná čedarem, čerstvým koriandrem a pikantní chilli papričkou. Snadná, rychlá a neuvěřitelně návyková chuťovka z grilu nebo pánve.

- 2 pcs of pre-cooked corn
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- 1 handful of coriander
- 1 pc of chili pepper
- 40 g of cheddar
- 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp of sour cream
- juice of ¼ lime
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt
Brush the corn cobs with olive oil. Heat a pan or grill, add the corn and grill slowly until the corn is brown to slightly charred. Turn it regularly so it does not burn and is completely grilled on all sides, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
While grilling, prepare the spreading mixture. Mix the sour cream in a bowl with the mayonnaise, season with a pinch of salt, add the lime juice and minced garlic, and mix everything together thoroughly.
Once the corn is completely grilled, transfer it to a plate and brush generously with the prepared creamy mixture. Finally, sprinkle with chopped coriander, finely chopped chili pepper and generously grate cheddar over it.
