Buy all ingredients right below the recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 medium tomatoes (enough for approximately 120 ml of fresh tomato juice)
  • 50 ml vodka
  • 15 ml lemon juice (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 2-3 drops of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2-3 drops of Tabasco (or to taste)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Ice
  • Celery leaves for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

    Thoroughly wash the tomatoes and cut them into smaller pieces. Blend them in a blender until you get a smooth juice. For a finer texture, you can strain the juice through a fine sieve to remove the skins and seeds. If you don't mind a coarser consistency, you can skip this step.

    In a shaker or a large glass, mix the fresh tomato juice with vodka.

    Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt, pepper, and optionally celery salt.

    Mix or shake well to combine all the ingredients.

    Place a few ice cubes in a tall glass. Pour the prepared cocktail over the ice.

    Garnish with celery leaves to your liking.
