INGREDIENTS FOR THE BATTER
- 100 g whole wheat flour
- 20 ml olive oil
- 2 eggs
- Seeds from a vanilla bean
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Cooking oil spray
- 200 ml kefir milk
INGREDIENTS FOR SERVING
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Redcurrants
- Plain yogurt
- Quark
- Maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix all ingredients for the batter together and whisk.
- 2Turn on the waffle maker and let it heat up sufficiently. Once the waffle maker is ready, lightly spray the baking plates with cooking oil spray. Pour in the batter, close the lid, and bake for three to three and a half minutes. You can test the baking time with the first waffle. Do not open the waffle maker during baking to prevent the waffles from tearing or collapsing.
- 3Serve with fruit, quark or yogurt, and drizzle with maple syrup.
