INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • approx. 200 g Debrecen sausages
  • 100 g Gouda
  • Mild ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • Provence herbs
  • White sesame
  • Red cherry tomatoes
  • Yellow cherry tomatoes

    Roll out the dough into a rectangle, or buy it pre-rolled.

    Using a sharp knife, divide it into 12 equal smaller rectangles. Spread ketchup on 6 of them, sprinkle with Provence herbs and grated cheese. Then arrange sliced cherry tomatoes, 2 slices will be enough. Finally, place the Debrecen sausage, trimmed so it doesn't extend beyond the edges.

    Cut the remaining 6 pieces of dough into diagonal strips in the middle, but the dough must remain in one piece. Cover the filled part of the dough with this piece and join the edges. Then press downwards to form an oval. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 20 minutes, until the pastries are golden brown. Serve with fresh cherry tomatoes.
