Wash the figs and cut them into small pieces, including the skin. Place them in a pot with sugar, lemon juice, and spices. Simmer over low heat for 12–15 minutes until the figs soften and begin to break down.

Remove whole spices and blend the mixture until smooth. Pour into a jar and chill in the refrigerator.

Cut the cheeses lengthwise and spread with the chilled marmalade. Cover with the top part and cut into triangles. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and garnish with figs.
