Cut out bats or other Halloween shapes from the tortillas. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with oil, season with salt, and sprinkle with ground paprika. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 - 20 minutes until golden.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan, mix with flour to make a roux. Pour in milk and whisk to make béchamel. Season with salt and add nutmeg. Finally, stir in grated cheese and jalapeño peppers to taste.

Serve the crispy chips with warm cheddar dip.
