INGREDIENTS

  • 4 young artichokes
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic cream vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large cloves of garlic
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 sprigs of oregano
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, clean the artichokes. Cut off the woody stem, then cut off 1/3 of the artichoke tip, and peel off the leaves until only the yellow leaves remain. Cut the artichoke lengthwise in half and scrape out the fuzzy choke from the center.

    Boil in salted water for 20 min.

    Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Mix olive oil, balsamic, crushed garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.

    Drain the artichokes and place them in a baking dish lined with baking paper. Rub the prepared mixture into the artichokes and bake at 170 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Serve the artichokes as an appetizer or as a side dish with meat.
