INGREDIENTS
- 300 g cream cheese
- 40 g low-fat quark in a tub
- 2 spring onions (only the top green part)
- 40 g walnuts
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 small handful of fresh chives

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and quark and mix. Finely chop the green part of the spring onions and add to the bowl with the quark and cheese. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
- 2Next, finely chop the chives and finely chop the walnuts with a knife or in a food processor. Place both in a deep plate and mix.
- 3Finally, form the cheese mixture in the bowl into a ball with your hands and coat it in the chive and walnut mixture. Let it rest in the refrigerator (for about 30–60 minutes) and serve.
- 4You can store the cheese ball in the refrigerator in an airtight container or covered with foil for up to 5 days.
Tip
Instead of spring onion, you can use fresh parsley.
