INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of black pepper (for better absorption of turmeric)
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Bring water to a boil in a small pot (250 ml). Once the water starts boiling, add the grated ginger and turmeric. If using fresh turmeric, make sure to grate it.
- 2Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer gently for about 5–10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld well.
- 3Strain the tea into a cup to remove the ginger pieces.
- 4Add honey and lemon juice to taste. For better absorption of turmeric, add a pinch of black pepper.
