INSTRUCTIONS

    Carefully wrap the cheese in cling film and place it in the freezer for 10–15 minutes.

    Cut the figs lengthwise in half and place them on a plate.

    Remove the cheese from the freezer and grate it over the figs.

    Drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil, and season with freshly ground pepper.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
