Ingredients overview
- 2 ripe avocados
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 peeled clove of garlic
- juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 red chilli pepper
- 2 tbsp roughly chopped fresh coriander
- pinch of freshly ground pepper
- salt
Cut the tomatoes in half and cut out the tough centers and seeds. Finely chop the flesh. Crush or finely chop the garlic. Cut the chilli pepper open, remove the seeds and chop finely.
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh out of the skin with a spoon and cut it into small cubes. Place them in a bowl and mash half of them with a fork.
Add the oil, sour cream, lime juice, garlic, chilli pepper, and coriander. Finally, stir in the chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix well, and let cool in the fridge for a while.
Chef's tip
You can mash the entire amount of avocado with a fork. The guacamole will have a smoother texture. You can add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the guacamole. Serve with nachos.
