INGREDIENTS
- 8 slices of toast bread
- 8 teaspoons of softened butter
- 200 g slices of Eidam type cheese (min. 30%)

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Butter both sides of the toast slices. On half of them, arrange cheese slices and cover with the remaining toast slices.
- 2Heat a pan over medium heat and place the prepared sandwiches on it. Cook for 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 3Flip the sandwiches, cover the pan with a lid, and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown. The cheese must melt inside the sandwich.

For preparation, you will need a pan with a lid.

Tip: For an especially delicate flavor, you can finish the sauce with a drop of lemon juice. Homemade spaetzle or wide noodles, which perfectly soak up the creamy sauce, are an excellent side dish.
